  Cat Lovers Meet and Greet

  Hello! I’m Michael and I thought I’d start this forum off with a meet and greet of all the site’s cat lovers. This is going to be my favorite subject, as I am a fool for cats.

  I currently have 1 cat by necessity. I met her at my local Humane Society Shelter where she was adopted and returned weeks later because she just could not get along with any other animals. My heart has been tugged on by the unwanted animals. They need a home too. She would only be adopted as an only cat. And that was fine with me. I have a small 1 bedroom apartment and I could only really afford 1 cat at the time. She is a calico and a typically spicy one.

  I committed myself to her, and promised I would never return her to the shelter. I don’t care how long it took, but I was going to bond with this little darling. It took more than a year, but I won her trust and affection. I’ve had her 4 years now and my love and commitment to her is undying.
